The anniversary sheetlet depicts the Avro Vulcan B2 over a map of the South Atlantic indicating the route from Ascension Island and the key re-fueling points for the Vulcan Bomber and Victor Tanker planes. The four stamps depict the Vulcan prototype, the Black Buck raids and the Vulcan to the Sky Project. An illustrated inset gives more details of the stamps and the Black Buck raids on Stanley Airfield. "Vulcan XM607 arrived at Stanley at 4.46am and dropped a total of 21 1,000 pound bombs. She was airborne for 16 hours compared to a total of 105 hours for the Victor tankers."

The Liberation Monument is the focus of commemoration on the 14th June every year. HRH the Princess Royal places a wreath on the memorial while a member of the Falkland Islands Defence Force stands guard. The names of the 255 members of the armed services who lost their lives are on the memorial plaques and are recorded on the stamps issued for the 25th Anniversary. Complete with leaflet giving details of the conflict and progress in the Islands over the past 25 years.
